Red Dead Redemption

If you thought the days of games arriving on more than one disc were over, Red Dead Redemption 2 might be about to prove you wrong.

An image of what seems to be the Japanese PlayStation 4 cover of Rockstar’s latest game has leaked, and from some symbols on the packaging, it seems the game will come spread across two discs. These symbols can be seen in the middle of the back cover, where a blue and white icon clearly shows two discs.

Keep in mind that we haven’t seen any other version of the game’s physical box art yet, so this information may prove to be false. Still, we already know that the digital version of the game requires a whopping 88-105 GB of free space, so taking two discs to install everything is well within the realm of possibility. It seems likely that the Xbox One version of the game would need two discs as well.

We’ll know for sure soon enough, when Red Dead Redemption 2 launches next Friday, October 26th, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
