Omni Systems Limited’s relaxing real-time strategy game Eufloria is coming to PlayStation Vita December 17, the studio announced today.
Eufloria tasks players—as the commander of interstellar lifeforms—to colonize asteroids by growing seedlings on Dyson trees and attacking enemy asteroids. Different seedings possess different stats, such as strength, energy, and speed, affecting both the appearance and the behavior of seedlings in combat. Eufloria’s interstellar story of colonization is told through a a minimalistic aesthetic (seen above, and in the video embedded below) created by designer Alex May, who drew inspiration from Japanese art and watercolors.
Eufloria originally debuted on Windows PC in 2009, and was later updated and ported to PSN for PS3 in 2011 and Apple’s iPad in 2012.
