Release date, new character announced Street Fighter X Tekken

THE BUZZ: After all the hype, the videos, the screenshots, the character reveals—we now know when we’ll be able to get our hands on Street Fighter X Tekken.
That date? March 6th in North America, March 9th in Europe.
Along with the date, at today’s New York Comic Con Capcom also announced a few other new details. First up is confirmation of the next roster addition: Rufus. You know, the portly Caucasian martial artist from Street Fighter IV.
As well, a PC version of Street Fighter X Tekken was confirmed, as were more details about the gems system—at which one point the audience in attendance noticeably booed at mention of “autoblock” and “auto throw escape” gems.
EGM’s TAKE: March is good release window in my mind—outside of the holiday rush, and at that point in the year when game releases start to slow down a little. As for this business with the auto gems, I’ll wait until I know more about them (and their effect on the game) to decide if I think they’re a good idea or not.
