THE BUZZ: Alan Wake developer Remedy has begun hiring for a new AAA console project, based on new job listings.

The developer is calling the title a “groundbreaking AAA console project,” and is currently looking for gameplay programmer and gameplay/AI programmer for the title which will improve enemy AI greatly. “We want your help in taking our artificial intelligence, character & enemy behaviour to the next level,” the listings mention. “You will be working on the next iteration of Remedy’s in-house engine that was previously used in Alan Wake and Alan Wake’s American Nightmare.”

EGM’s TAKE: Let the guess work and rumors begin. Smart money is on Alan Wake 2.

What could they be working on? Leave your comments below.
