THE BUZZ: Several new job listings posted by Remedy have dropped hints about an AAA console project in the Alan Wake series.

Four of the five positions mention an “AAA console project” and one references Alan Wake specifically. “You will be working on the next iteration of Remedy’s unique world-class rendering engine that was previously used in Alan Wake,” said the vacancy for a 3D Graphics Programmer.

Remedy has already mentioned that a new Alan Wake game would be coming at some point, however it won’t be Alan Wake 2.

EGM’s TAKE: Alan Wake was a fantastic game that failed to get the sales that it deserved. Hopefully we may one day get to see a sequel.
