Darksiders III developer Gunfire Games has announced Remnant: From the Ashes for PC and consoles.

The game is described as “a third-person survival-action shooter” and will feature four-player co-op in “dynamically generated worlds.”

Remnant is set in a post-apocalyptic future where The Root, beings from another dimension, have taken over Earth. Players will take the fight to The Root by crafting weapons and equipment, recruiting tradesmen, and traveling to other dimensions.

The upcoming game also features character customization options, multiple classes, and a progressions system.

Remnant: From the Ashes is scheduled to launch in 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. More information about the game will be shared during Gamescom next month.
