A number of new games, as well as the framework for a rental system, have been added to the currently ongoing PlayStation Now beta.
The latest update to the beta adds the option to “rent” a game for one, seven, or 30 days, according to IGN. A note at the bottom of the rental options states that the rental time will begin from the first time you play the game, and not from the moment you rent it. As the program is still in beta, all options are listed as free.
As well as this rental system, a new batch of games was added, taking the total up to 20. The newest additions can be found below:
- Ben Omniverse 2
- Eat Them!
- Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear
- LUMINES: Supernova
- NIGHTS Into Dreams…
- PixelJump Racers 2nd Lap
- PixelJunk Shooter 2
- Sniper Elite V2
PlayStation Now is set to officially launch this summer in North America, with a late 2014/early 2015 launch planned for Europe.
