EA is sending out invites to stress test Respawn Entertainment’s upcoming shooter Titanfall on Xbox One, according to reports from numerous users.

Users on both NeoGAF and Twitter have reported receiving an email from EA inviting them “to take part in an exclusive trial for an upcoming title on Microsoft’s Xbox One.” Interested users are prompted to click the registration link and sign in with their Origin account. The email adds that once registered, players will receive a trial account code and details on the test’s start date if they are selected.

After logging in with your Origin account you are greeted with the following message: “Your application to participate is complete. If you are selected to take part in our upcoming test, you will receive an email in the coming days with a unique code and instructions on how to download and access the game on Xbox One. Thank you!”

When asked about the emails, the official Titanfall Twitter account responded: “We have not announced any official beta information.”

However, a member of EA’s customer support team confirmed to NeoGAF member “Azula” that the email is legit.
