The first screenshots of The Creative Assembly and Sega’s upcoming Alien title, Alien Isolation, have been leaked online.
The screens come courtesy of Twitter user “Lifelower,” and Eurogamer has confirmed that they are indeed in-game screenshots from The Creative Assembly’s Alien Isolation. They show what appears to be the inside of the space station, a couple of space suits, and the series’ iconic motion tracker.
The game reportedly features Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen Ripley who was played by actress Sigourney Weaver in the Alien films, as the main character.
Isolation features a mixture of stealth and horror, according to a Kotaku report, and sees Ripley stranded on a space station with a single Xenomorph for “most” of the game, with the majority of enemies being “clones and soldiers.”
These screenshots join artwork for the game that was leaked earlier this week, which seemingly confirmed that the game would feature a female lead, presumably Amanda Ripley.
Alien Isolation is set to release in 2014 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
