Something called Kingdom Hearts 2.9 is in development for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, according to the LinkedIn profile of a former Square Enix designer.

The Osaka-based developer’s profile references a game called Kingdom Hearts 2.9. The profile states that the developer has worked on “game idea planning and documentation,” as well as “boss planning” and “Attraction Flow planning and documentation.” Of course, this should be taken with several grains of salt for now.

According to previous reports, Kingdom Hearts 2.9 appeared on a Square Enix E3 schedule before later being removed.
