Marvel vs Capcom

It appears that French website Jeux Video has accidentally outed the announcement of eight new Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite characters.

According to the post, which has since been removed, Ultron, Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, Rocket Racoon will be joining the Marvel side, while Chun-Li, Strider, and Chris Redfield will be part of Capcom’s lineup.

This list was later seemingly confirmed by NeoGAF member “Ryce,” who previously revealed details about the game, after it was posted by another member called “Smooth Operator.”

Ryse also mentioned that more information about Infinite will be coming later this week. “So I hear there was an MvCI press event in Germany a few days ago and that the embargo lifts at the end of the week,” he wrote. “There are some big surprises in store, which I’m not going to spoil out of respect to Capcom.”

Of course, it goes without saying that all of this should be taken with a pinch of salt for now.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is scheduled to launch later this year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
