Update: Sega has stated that the information on the card in the photo is “incorrect.” You can find more information here.

Original Story: An unannounced Sonic the Hedgehog game is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U in 2015, according to a photograph taken at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair.

The photograph was taken at toy manufacturer Jazwares’ booth and features a sign that lists three Sonic games. The first two, Sonic: Lost World and Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, were released last year, but the third is listed as “New 2015 title TBA” for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U.

The sign also references Sonic Boom, an animated Sonic series set to air on Cartoon Network this fall.

Sega and Nintendo announced in May last year that they planned to release a trilogy of Sonic games exclusively for Wii U and 3DS. Sonic Lost World and the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games represented the first two games. The final game in this trilogy is yet to be announced.
