Reports Surface of Xbox 360 Achievements Being Wiped

THE BUZZ: Reports have been surfacing that Xbox 360 gamers have had their achievements and Gamerscore wiped.

A number of threads have been started over on the Xbox.com forums, with numerous gamers complaining of all their achievements and Gamerscore being wiped for no reason.

The Xbox Support Twitter account stated that Microsoft is ”looking into this right now.”

Microsoft has since come out and suggested that gamers should sign out of their profiles and back in to resolve the issue. If this fails it is recommended on the Xbox Facebook page that you re download your Xbox Live profile. You can do so by following the steps listed here.

EGM’s TAKE: This has left a lot of users very angry and confused. There’s nothing worse than that. Hopefully Microsoft’s advice will work for all gamers suffering from this glitch, if not then the company is going to have a major issue on its hands.
