Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation Network will be down for maintenance tonight sparking the speculation again that tomorrow might finally be the day of the PlayStation Store’s return. The maintenance was originally scheduled for last night but was postponed by Sony.

The PlayStation Network will be offline for maintenance from 16:30 GMT today until 07:01 GMT tomorrow morning, during the down period you will not be able to access any PlayStation Network services.

If you want to continue playing online during this period you will need to be signed in before the network goes down at 16:30.

Sony said they will have full service restored to the PlayStation Network by the end of this week so the return of the PlayStation Store looks very likely during this downtime.
