Capcom has announced the official release date of the Resident Evil 6 demo for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 which includes a taster of the game’s co-op mode.

The demo will be available September 18 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and includes a taster of three of the game’s campaigns as well as online co-op. Non-Gold Xbox Live members will be able to download the demo on September 25.

Recently several copies of the full retail game appeared in the wild, but Capcom has since said that these were stolen and it is now trying to round them up.
