Resident Evil 6 Getting New Camera Options, More Subtitle Choices
Posted on October 24, 2012 AT 12:47pm
A free update for Resident Evil 6 was already planned for December, one which will bring a new difficulty level and give Ada Wong an optional partner. Now, however, that update will bring other big changes as well.
The first change will be to RE6‘s semi-controversial camera. Personally, I never had any problems with the camera in the final game—but some found it to be far too zoomed in to the characters to their liking. Even though I didn’t have any issues with it, I’m always on the side of giving players more options instead of less—so it’s nice to see Capcom announcing that this update will bring with it a camera adjust option. If this means that more people will end up being able to enjoy RE6, then that’s a good thing.
If you want to see the difference between the camera options, check out the screenshots below. First screenshot is the current default camera, second is the new camera.
In addition to that, new subtitle options will let players play with the standard English-language voices, but turn on subtitles for an alternate language.
