Resident Evil 6 Is Capcom’s Largest Scale Production Ever

THE BUZZ: Capcom has officially declared Resident Evil 6 its, “largest scale production” ever.
The game’s executive producer, Hiroyuki Kobayashi, revealed that Capcom has around 150 people working on the game in Japan and around 600 people worldwide.
EGM’s TAKE: Resident Evil 6 took the world by storm when the first official trailer was revealed last week and since then rumors and speculation has been running wild as people try to pick it apart looking for clues. Capcom hasn’t released any official details regarding the game, however they did release this special version of the announcement trailer featuring commentary from some of the key developers on the title. From the looks of the trailer it appears that the newest game is looking to step back towards the original’s roots, concentrating more on unexpected frights then straight up action, like Resident Evil 5. Every single Resident Evil title has been a massive undertaking, however it appears the team is really pushing the enveloped with the franchise’s sixth main installment. But will a bigger team mean a better game, or will too many ideas water down the games’s core?
