Resident Evil 6 producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi has said that each of the game’s three storylines equates to, “probably around 70% to 80% of the volume of the whole game in Resident Evil 5.”
One major complaint in Resident Evil 5 was how short the game’s campaign was, and it appears that Capcom has listened to fans and is offering a lot more content for them to enjoy. The game features three separate campaigns with differing play styles following Leon Kennedy, Jake Muller and Chris Redfield.
Simply offering more content won’t be enough to please the Resident Evil fanbase, the content has to be deep and meaningful. A return to the series’ roots is needed and from what’s been shown so far Resident Evil 6 is set to deliver just that.
