It appears that Capcom hasn’t given up on placing upcoming DLC content on the game’s disk at launch as one YouTube user has managed to unlock a bunch of hidden content via modding including a new difficulty level, costumes and multiplayer taunts.

YouTube user “Fluffyquack” has released some videos of the hidden content which was unlocked. Just as a precaution be careful of spoilers while you watch. The first video shows a comparison between the game’s hardest difficulty, Pro, and a hidden harder difficulty mode named No Hope, as you can see it’s a massive increase.

The next video shows a bunch of new costumes and melee attacks that are currently locked.

Finally there’s a video showcasing multiple locked taunts for various multiplayer characters in the game.

Capcom has got into hot water before over placing locked DLC content on the game’s disc, but hopefully it will offer it all for free which should keep fans happy, although it begs the question, why lock it in the first place? If I pay for a full game then surely everything on the disc should be available to me from day one.
