Resident Evil

If you’re one of the lucky few who happened to get their hands on an early retail copy of Resident Evil 6, shame on you. Shame on you for being so being so lucky and incurring the wrath of Capcom.

Of course, we doubt they’ll find you all the way out in the Australia, where the street date’s apparently been broken.

That news comes from the official Facebook account for Game Informer AU, where it was confirmed that Australian retailers are releasing their copies early.

It’s not the first time that Resident Evil 6 has been let loose in the wild, though.

Retail copies inexplicably popped up in Poland earlier this month, which Capcom later confirmed were stolen German PS3 copies—they even went went as far as launching an investigation into the matter.

North America and Europe are sticking to their release date, though, so the rest of us can’t play until October 2nd.
