Resident Evil 7 players will be able to transfer saves between the Xbox One and PC versions of the game, Capcom revealed in a recent interview with Dengeki.

“The Windows Store version can share play data with the Xbox One version,” the company said (translated by IGN Japan). Capcom later confirmed this in a statement sent to IGN.

Cross-saves is one of the perks offered by Xbox Play Anywhere games, suggesting that the game could be one of the first third-party titles to support the program. The publisher refused to confirm or deny this when asked by IGN.

Resident Evil 7 launches January 24th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
