Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Announced For PlayStation 3

THE BUZZ: Capcom has announced Resident Evil: Chronicles HD exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

The collection bundles together the two Wii shooters Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and The Darkside Chronicles.

Chronicles HD will release in June as a digital download on the PlayStation Network with Move support, improved graphics and trophies. Both games will then be released as separate downloads at a later date.

EGM’s TAKE: Yes! More HD remakes for us to enjoy. To be honest the whole HD remake thing is getting a little boring now, but we shall feign interest until that glorious day when Final Fantasy VII HD gets announced. If you never had a chance to play these games on the Wii, then you didn’t really miss much. But if you’re itching for some more Resident Evil console action before Resident Evil 6 then these should tie you over.
