Capcom has announced the official release date for the Resident Evil HD Chronicles Collection which bundles Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.

Both games were originally released for the Wii, but have been given a face-lift and added PlayStation Move support – original controllers also work – for their trip over to the PlayStation 3. The collection will be available on the U.S. PlayStation Store from June 26, and the European Store from June 27, priced at $26.99.

The titles will also be available to purchase separately starting July 17, priced at $14.99 each.

Worth the money for a couple of Wii upgrades?
