THE BUZZ: Capcom has released a new trailer for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City showcasing the Elite Weapons DLC rewarded for pre-ordering the game.

The two weapons on offer are the Perforator, a double barreled shotgun capable of delivering massive damage at close range, and the Combat SMG, which has a quick fire rate and compact shell for unloading a lot of bullets quickly and accurately.

EGM’s TAKE: More free DLC for pre-ordering a game! Don’t you just love it when publishers make these kind of offers? Both weapons sound like seriously bad news for the zombies of Raccoon City. We especially like the sound of the Perforator, as the idea of blasting the undead to smithereens grabs our attention. The game steps away from the usual survival horror genre and offers a much more fast paced team shooter. Is this a good move for Capcom? By the look of it, yes.
