Cover art – sometimes its good, sometimes its bad, sometimes you just don’t care. Unfortunately, sometimes a publisher thinks that cover art that looks stylish and sophisticated won’t catch enough eyes, so instead you get game covers that are ugly or over-loaded with text and labels.
When the custom Olly Moss-crafted Resistance 3 artwork was unveiled, many wished that the game’s packaging could be done up in a similarly artistic style. Well, while the main cover might not be, the game will actually come with a reversible cover, where you’ll have the choice as to which style of cover to display.
Here’s a photo posted to Twitter by the folks at Insomniac, showing that alternate reversible cover. If only more games gave us options like this.
