Resogun’s twice-teased DLC is coming in June, according to Twitter and Facebook responses from developer Housemarque that were spotted by NeoGAF user “Justified.”
The responses, which have since been deleted (but saved in posterity courtesy of screenshots, something I don’t think developers have quite picked up on just yet—not to mention the lingering responses from fans echoing “June”), were originally uttered in response to fan inquiry about the DLC’s whereabouts (whenabouts?). In both cases, the responses amounted to little more than “June!”
Housemarque teased Resogun’s DLC in April, first with an image that suggested that it would have local two-player co-op, then with a more enigmatic image of voxel spheres and the accompanying text: “You’re going to need some” (“balls” being the word implied).
Earlier in April, Housemarque enticed fans on Twitter to “imagine [Resogun] so much better that you almost forget how good the original was. That. Is. Coming.”
Resogun was among the PlayStation 4’s launch lineup and was received pretty favorably, including by our own executive editor Eric L. Patterson.
