While tickling the fancy of Titanfall fans on Twitter yesterday by granting retweet requests left and right, Respawn Entertain co-founder Vince Zampella confirmed that additional game modes will be free.

Zampella also mentioned that the first DLC add-on for Titanfall, though not yet dated, will cost $10 in the United States if purchased separately from the $24.99 season pass, which nets players all three planned DLC packs.

What, exactly, Titanfall’s DLC will add remains unknown. More maps, presumably. Perhaps weapons. The developers have stated that new Titans are unlikely, as balancing new models with the existing ones would prove very challenging.

Barring any more delays, the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall is slated to drop April 8 in North America, April 11 in Euroupe.
