Retailer Lists Splinter Cell: Black List for Wii U

Internet detectives have caught wind of a potential Wii U release for Ubisoft’s recently announced Splinter Cell: Black List. U.S. retailer Best Buy has the game listed on their online store, with a release date of February 28, 2013.
Ubisoft has already shown a lot of support for the Wii U since it was announced, so it wouldn’t come as a surprise if this turns out to be true. The annoying part of a rumor like this is if it is real why didn’t Nintendo or Ubisoft announce it at E3 last week? Nintendo desperately needed some major announcements to make up for the dismal showing it put on at its press conference, and this would have done nicely. There is a chance that this could just be an error on Best Buy’s part.
Splinter Cell: Black List is scheduled to hit PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next year.
