Ridge Racer Unbounded

THE BUZZ: Namco has released a new trailer for Ridge Racer Unbounded, demonstrating its city editor.

The basic and advanced editor allows you to customize your track however you wish, you can add parked cars, loops, jumps and a lot of other things. You can even share you creations.

EGM’s TAKE: The basic editor is perfect for beginners. You simply place the piece of track you want to use in a grid and the you can plonk your car down on it and try it out. There is a ton of environmental pieces to choose from, along with bridges, tunnels and jumps. The advanced version of the editor is where things get interesting though. Using this you can go into the city and modify certain pieces of the environment, you can add banked curves and even loops in the track. We can imagine some pretty awesome tracks being created using this nice piece of kit.
