Trion Worlds has detailed the first of four new Souls being added to Rift as part of the Storm Legion expansion.

The Harbinger is a melee DPS Soul for Mages, which summons energy scythes and lighting blades to cut down foes. The Soul is built for survivability and also comes with a special armor set which reduces overall casting time. A full overview of the Soul can be found in the video below, starting at the 12:30 mark.

The developer also mentioned that a new mount is on the way known as “Mr. Landslide,” teasing that more information will be revealed next week.
