A sequel to last year’s Tomb Raider reboot, Rise of the Tomb Raider, is coming holiday 2015, developer Crystal Dynamics announced during Microsoft’s E3 2014’s press conference.
Very little details were revealed, only a CG trailer was shown featuring a hooded Lara Croft speaking with a therapist, possibly dealing with post-traumatic stress following the events of this new game or of the first game. Lady Croft’s iconic new bow is seen strapped to her back, and in the trailer she’s seen fleeing from a bear and climbing all sorts of cliffs and ledges. At the end, an ancient underground structure can be seen.
No systems were revealed, but it is believed that Tomb Raider will be for new consoles only, so PC, PS4, and Xbox One. We’ll upload the trailer as soon as it’s made available.
Note: The artwork above is from the original Tomb Raider.
