Road Not Taken, described as a “puzzle roguelike,” is coming to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita next year, developer Spry Fox announced.
“Road Not Taken is a game about life’s surprises, both positive and negative,” studio co-founder David Edery wrote in a post on the PlayStation Blog. “In our take on Robert Frost’s poem of the same name, you wander through a mysterious forest in the aftermath of a large snowstorm. As you explore, you’ll come across wild animals, impassable barriers, and lost children.”
According to Edery, because of the title’s roguelike nature, no two play sessions will ever be similar. But, he warns, because of the title’s roguelike nature, “you’re going to die many, many times.”
