Rock Band VR will arrive on the Oculus Rift March 23rd.
If you miss the rhythm games of the mid-2000s and love the technology of the future, Rock Band VR is probably your cup of tea. Luckily for you, developer Harmonix has announced a soon-approaching release date of March 23rd. As seem in the video below, the game looks perfect for those whose friends have moved on from the times of plastic instruments. Now you can rock out to your heart’s content, alongside your virtual friends, in front of a virtual crowd.
The title promises to have 60 songs, with such hits as Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way” and The Killers “When You Were Young.” However, to play it, you’ll want to make sure you have to correct setup. That’ll include an Oculus Rift, Oculus Touch Controllers, and a Rock Band 4 Guitar Controller. If you don’t have a guitar, you can pick one up as part of a bundle with the game. Confusingly, it is the Xbox One version of the bundle.
