Psyonix has announced that Season 6 of the Rocket League Championship Series will offer the biggest prize pool to date.

The developer revealed that the upcoming season will feature the “biggest prize pool ever” with $1 million up for grabs during the season, plus an additional $100,000 for the Rivals Series tournament.

It was also revealed that the Rival Series open qualifiers will return, offering all Rocket League players the chance to earn a spot in the Rocket League Champion Series. The qualifiers are open to all players with an eligible Steam or PlayStation Plus account.

“Teams that are interested in testing their skills can battle it out in up to two (of the four) qualifiers in either North America or Europe to earn a chance at making it into the upcoming season of the Rival Series,” the developer explains. “After the qualifiers, the surviving ‘Top 128’ teams will then participate in the Play-In to fill up the remaining four spots per region in the Rival Series.”

Psyonix recently revealed the drop rates of Rocket League’s crates. Take a look at the chance to earn certain items here.

Rocket League is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
