Psyonix has announced that its December update for Rocket League will include enhancements for Xbox One X.

The update is scheduled to arrive in early December and will up the game to 4K resolution at 60 FPS when running on Microsoft’s more powerful console.

December will also see the introduction of the game’s second Rocket Pass and the beginning of the Frosty Fest 2018 in-game event. During this event, players will be able to earn Snowflakes by playing online matches, which can be traded in for new limited-time cosmetics. More information about the event will be shared closer to launch.

Earlier today, Psyonix revealed that has pushed back the release of its RocketID cross-platform parties feature to early 2019.

Rocket League is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
