Psyonix has released a major expansion for Rocket League‘s in-game inventory trade-in system.
For those who are unaware, the system allows players to trade in five items of the same quality to get one item of a higher quality. Before this update, the system only allowed players to trade in uncommon and rare drops, but now players can trade in very rare and import items for new higher quality items.

Going forward more rare and very rare drops will be added to the item pool in the game’s next major update to improve the diversity of drops, according to the developer. “While we can’t go into detail about these items just yet, you may want to consider carefully before liquidating your entire Uncommon and Rare inventory,” Psyonix concluded.
Rocket League is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch release due later this year.
