Rocksmith 2014 Creative Director Talks Up New, Improved Features in Latest Video

Posted on September 6, 2013 AT 01:20pm

In a new video for Rocksmith 2014, creative director Paul Cross takers viewers on a tour of the game’s new and improved features—which pretty include every aspect of the title.

“Every single aspect of Rocksmith has been revamped, redesigned, re-engineered,” Cross says in the video. “Everything you do now with a guitar is detected, listened to, with instant feedback.”

According to Cross, Rocksmith is designed to be a fully customizable piece of learning software that never forces players to do anything—they have complete control over their learning experience. But that doesn’t mean that advanced players have been neglected. Seamless master mode, an optional setting, encourages users to play by memory by fading out the notes if they’re performing particularly well.

Rocksmith 2014 launches on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 October 22.
