Rockstar has added a new Hierarchies system to its Social Club crews ahead of the release of Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.

The Hierarchies system allows crew leaders to assign ranks to members and share crew management duties. The current ranks available are:

  • Commissioners: Most trusted members. The leader’s right hand man who is there to offer advisement and execute action. A certain amount of power comes with being a commissioner including the ability to manage the crew on behalf of the leader, promote members and invite new members.
  • Lieutenants: “Made” members of the crew. Have the power to keep the crew in line. Lieutenants can also promote members and demote any sub-ordinates.
  • Representatives: These members have proved their loyalty to the crew. Representatives are given basic permissions to aid in recruitment efforts for the crew.
  • Muscle: Content to wreak havoc online and wear the crew’s emblem proudly. The muscle of the crew has no administrative power within the crew, but doesn’t want it. Muscle level members are there to strike fear in enemy crews.

Each member of the crew will be assigned the rank of Muscle until the crew leader promotes them. There is no limit to how many members can be in each tier.
