Rockstar Calls GTA V Rumors ‘Internet Lunacy’

THE BUZZ: Grand Theft Auto V was only officially announced a few weeks ago and already rumors of the game’s plot and features have been springing up all over the place. Rockstar has given their official comment on all of the rumors currently surrounding the game.

“We do not comment on rumors, speculation and general internet lunacy. We do appreciate seeing the passion gaming fans have shown toward Grand Theft Auto V and we look forward to sharing more information with everyone soon,” the developer told NowGamer.

These statement comes after a journalist who claims to have spent time with the game revealed a ton of details regarding plot, features and gameplay.

EGM’s TAKE: So far nothing official beyond the debut trailer has been revealed about the game, so take everything you read with a pinch of salt.
