THE BUZZ: Rockstar has crushed any hopes of getting an early taste of Max Payne 3, stating it has no plans to release a demo of the game.

“There are no plans for a demo of Max Payne 3,” the developer said in response to many fans on Twitter.

The console versions of the game are set to release May 15 in North America and May 18 in Europe, with the PC version releasing May 29 in NA and June 1 in Europe.

EGM’s TAKE: While many fans will be disappointed at this news, it isn’t all that bad. The game will be officially out in just over a month and you will be able to go at it with a fresh set of eyes and no nasty demo bugs or glitches clouding your judgement.

Rockstar recently announced that Max Payne Mobile would be hitting iOS devices this week
