THE BUZZ: Rockstar has confirmed that it is set to reveal some new Grand Theft Auto V information  … “in a few months’ time.”

Responding to a question during a recent Q&A session for Max Payne 3 the developer said:

“First of all, we’d like to again thank you and everyone out there for the amazing response to the debut Grand Theft Auto V trailer. We know that there are a ton of questions you all have about the game, including release date and lots else.”

“Right now, we are very hard at work on the game and are excited as well to show and tell you more as development progresses – expect that we’ll be talking much more about GTAV starting at some point in a few months’ time,” added the developer. “Please hang tight until then and thank you all for your patience and support!”

EGM’s TAKE: So it appears that Rockstar are hanging back on Grand Theft Auto V details until they have Max Payne 3 out of the door, which makes sense considering they wouldn’t want to divert attention away from their next major release. The whole gaming world is clambering for new information on what is arguable the most anticipated title of 2012, you only have to look at how the world came to a stand still when the debut trailer for the game hit to know that.

What would you like to see added to the new GTA? Let us know in the comments below.
