Rocksteady Studios, the developer behind most of the Batman Arkham series, is hard at work in the motion capture studio in preparation for its next project, which is an announcement that fans are eagerly awaiting.
The studio recently posted an image to its Twitter account, teasing its work in the motion capture studio. The image was of the studio itself, to which prolific voice actor and performance artist Troy Baker responded with a GIF that apparently best conveys his excitement. Baker has worked with Rocksteady before, so his excitement could be both as a creator and fan.

Earlier this month, the developer let loose an intial motion capture-themed image, showing off a collection of mo-cap actors “fresh from a test shoot.”

The anticipation built up from these teases has caused some fans to look for (arguably far-fetched) clues of what the project might be. One fan on Twitter compared the pose of one actor in the mo-cap image to the pose of Cyborg on the film poster for Justice League, presumably theorizing that Rocksteady has a Justice League project in the works.

In wouldn’t be hard to imagine the project being Justice League related, considering the studio’s work on Batman properties, and it would offer up a nice competitor to the upcoming Avengers project being developed by Crystal Dynamics.
