EA is set to reveal the first teaser trailer for Battlefield 4 later today, according to a new report, and part of the game’s box art has apparently leaked online.
BF4Central is reporting that a teaser video will be released later today on the official Battlefield website, but will be an exclusive only available to Premium members. The head of one of the biggest Battlefield fan sites, Battlefieldo, also posted on Twitter:
My #BF4 senses are tingling. Something shall happen tomorrow, the 15th, on the official Battlefield site.

BF4Central is also reporting that a new dog tag has been discovered which will be rewarded to anyone who watches the teaser video on the official Battlefield site.
As if this wasn’t enough those intrepid investigators over on NeoGAF have discovered a partial Battlefield 4 box art shot along with the testimony of one Battlefieldo poster who claims to have seen the game’s box art:
“I have personally seen the cover art for Battlefield 4, which I cannot post, but I can say that it resembles that of the original Battlefield 3 cover. A man running, in the rain along with tanks, APC’s, and a small teaser image of a jet just to the right of his body.
“The buildings in the background also resemble that of the original Battlefield 3 artwork. He appears to be holding a suppressed EBR rifle with a support bipod, along with a 1911 pistol with a tac-light in his other hand.
“The character’s face has evolved from Battlefield 3, sporting slicked back hair in an American military uniform.” You can head over to NeoGAF to see the image.
Of course this is all just rumor and conjecture for now. Personally I doubt that the box art shot image is real as it could easily be knocked up in Photoshop. However, the rumor about a teaser on the Battlefield website does sound promising, but we will all have to wait until later today to see if it appears or not.
