The next Call of Duty game will be called Ghosts and is set to only release on next generation consoles and PC, according to new leaked information.

Now before I get into this I want to stress that this is all just rumor and it’s entirely up to you whether you choose to believe it or not.

The latest game from Infinity Ward will not be called Modern Warfare 4, it will actually be titled Call of Duty: Ghosts, but Phantom was another subtitle being kicked around before the decision was made, according to the video below.

Its campaign will be set in the future similar to Black Ops 2, but only present day weaponry will be used. Apparently there is some major event in the game which forces people to use present day instead of futuristic weaponry.

The game will feature dynamic loading screens which will act as mini-games to take you into the map. One of them sees the player repelling from a helicopter and smashing through a window.

Player movement has also been tweaked, Dolphin Dive has been replaced with the ability to “dash into sliding while shooting.” Prone and crouch have also been altered with players now being able to peak round corners and “roll side-to-side DayZ-style” while prone.

Spec Ops won’t be making a comeback, it will be replaced by something “new.” According to the video, the game will only launch on PC and next generation consoles. An announcement is set to be made around May 1.

Drift0r, the guy who made the video, states that the information comes from a “very legitimate source.”

“Typically I would not post videos like this but I completely trust this source,” he said. “Hopefully I am not being trolled by someone I trust and this information comes through in the end.”
