THE BUZZ: It appears that developers have been meeting in London, England to discuss the next-generation Xbox console.

A Tweet, which has since been deleted, by Crytek technical designer Sean Tracy claims that he was at a Durango summit in London yesterday.

“Enjoying the Durango developers summit in London. So far, great swag and interesting talks,” the Tweet read.

Two weeks ago a rumor surfaced that Microsoft’s internal name for the next-Xbox was Durango.

EGM’s TAKE: It’s odd that the Tweet was deleted if it wasn’t anything important. You would think that by deleting it he was admitting that he’d sipped up and let something out. The closer we get to E3, the rumored stage of the next-Xbox announcement, the more fuzzy information seem to keep cropping up. The problem is, the closer it gets the more Microsoft has to communicate to developers and publishers about it and the more likely leaks are to occur. If the company plans on announcing a new console at E3 expect to hear more about it soon.
