RUMOR: Doom 4 To Be A Next Gen Title, Runs On An Engine Described As ‘Eye Destroying’

An interesting rumor has appeared claiming that Doom 4 will actually be a next generation title.

According to Xbox World Magazine Doom 4 will actually be a title for the next generation of consoles in order to take advantage of the extra power that the new hardware will eventually bring.

They hint that the game’s engine will look “eye destroying” and will use a new C++ scripting language that will support a massive increase in detail and graphical fidelity.
