RUMOR: Final Fantasy XIII-2 Getting Mass Effect DLC

THE BUZZ: Square-Enix is apparently working with EA in order to bring some Mass Effect themed DLC to Final Fantasy XIII-2.
Square-Enix has already confirmed a collaboration with Ubisoft in order to bring Ezio’s costume from Assassin’s Creed’s to the game for main protagonist Noel.
An anonymous source has told Siliconera that a similar deal is currently underway with EA to bring Mass Effect themed costumes to the game.
EGM’s TAKE: Square are really pushing the boat out when it comes to DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2, but the problem is that fans don’t want additional costumes, they want useful items. Some additional story based DLC would be nice, for instance, letting us know the ending of the game we paid for. While Mass Effect costumes would be cool, we don’t see them selling very well as they offer no character buffs and are purely aesthetic.
It was recently announced that two new costumes and a Sazh episode will be releasing this month.
