Continuing the recent trend of a new Next Xbox rumor a day, a new report is claiming that Forza and long-forgotten Kinect game Ryse will be launch titles for the console.
The Verge is reporting that the usual “multiple sources familiar with the Next Xbox” are claiming that Forza and Ryse will release alongside the console later this year. That’s not all, the site also has word on two other launch titles, one is a zombie game and the other is a Kinect family game set on an island with “Pixar movie-style graphics.”
Now does anyone remember Ryse? It was first announced during Microsoft’s press conference at E3 2011 and since then has fallen completely off the map. According to The Verge, it is going to be Microsoft’s new “Gears of War/Halo mega launch title.” If you need a memory jog you can check out the game’s 2011 announcement trailer below.
The sources claim that these four games are just a “small selection” of the console’s launch line-up. Microsoft is now expected to announce its next generation console at an event in May, with a release in early November.
