RUMOR: Gears of War: Judgment Targeting February Release

The rumor mill for Gears of War: Judgment keeps spinning as a new source claims the game is targeting a February release window.

According to CVG, a publishing source close to the game has confirmed that Judgment is aiming for a February 2013 release. The source claims that the exact date for North America and Europe is yet to be finalized, but February is the earmarked month.

Microsoft said in a statement: ”We have not made any announcements updating launch timing for Gears of War: Judgment beyond early 2013. Stay tuned for new details about Gears of War: Judgment to be revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, July 12-15.”

This isn’t the first hint of a February window, yesterday retailer ShopTo listed the game for a February 8 release date, before later clarifying that it was just an estimate.
