(UPDATE) RUMOR: Gears of War: Judgment to Include Original Gears of War

UPDATE: Microsoft has confirmed that Gears of War: Judgment will include the original Gears of War. According to the platform holder, more than half of people who played Gears of War 3 had never played the 2006 original.

ORIGINAL: Didn’t get a chance to play the original Gears of War? Well don’t worry because Gears of War: Judgment is set to ship with a download code for the original Gears of War, according to a new report.

That is according to Spanish site The Vault, which claims to have received the information from a source close to Microsoft. The platform holder is still yet to officially comment.

Gears of War: Judgment is set to release March 19 exclusively on Xbox 360. Fans in the U.K. have a chance to play the game early next month as part of GAME’s new Lock-In events. You can find more details here.
